Atom Blitz is a 2D endless casual arcade space shooter.
Description:
Atom Blitz is an endless arcade horizontal scrolling space shooting mobile game heavily inspired by the Nokia 3310's Space Impact. It's gameplay is similar to Halfbrick's Jetpack Joyride and other endless runners but you can shoot manually with the game's ammo regeneration system. Atom Blitz has three different ships to choose from that varies in stats such as the health, speed, and the ammo regeneration.
History:
Atom Blitz was originally designed to be like Metal Slug that was going to be made in Unreal Engine. Time passed and the team decided to change the game design due to it's huge scope and few resources. The new game design is heavily inspired by Nokia 3310's Space Impact since the members of the team are a fan of the game and it would be nice to put it on new mobile devices. To make Atom Blitz casual and welcoming to new players, the elements of an endless runner was added to the game.

    Night Owl Digital is an independent game studio made of up 5 individuals from Cebu City, Philippines. Despite the pandemic, the studio was established in 2020. It was originally called Light of Dawn Interactive but decided to change the name to perfectly describe the people in the studio; Night Owls. We create games completely in-house. The studio aims to make games that people will love not only from the Philippines but all around the world. We also aim to pioneer a game industry here in Cebu.
